Kirtland

We drove only a little ways today because we wanted to visit Kirtland, Ohio. Either of us have been to Kirtland and it was a wonderful day. We are so glad we went. We even attended Church there. The tour guide at the Kirtland temple temple has promised she will come by and visit us in Washington.  She has members of the church in her family but her father was a mwmber of the Community ofChrist  Church and she has always felt that was good enough for her.

A picture of the school house that use to stand at the Isaac Morley farm. I am humbled at the the great sacrifice of my great great grandfather for the gospel.  It is so humbling to see what he gave up. He gave up everything for the Church.

The grove at the Morley farm where the Lord appeared.

We are part of the fulfillment of this prophesy.

John Johnson home were section 76 was received and the Father and the son appeared. Joseph was tared and feathered here.

The missionaries that gave us tours touched our heart.  Their testimonies rekindled our testimonies of this great restored work.

  1. I'm so glad you were able to visit the John Johnson home. The spirit was so strong when we were in the School of the Prophets I have never forgotten the impressions I had that day.
