We have arrived

After long days of driving we have arrived, unpacked, and gone to the grocery store. This is a very nice condo. We got everything put away.  I picked up the picture of our family and put it up and lost it. I couldn't stop crying. Dad couldn't figure out what was wrong with me.  I said we are finally home our kids are here with us.  Now the work begins.

The beautiful fall drive today through Pennsylvania.

Our first view of Washington.  It was raining today.  Driving around here is always exciting.

I am now home.
This is the living room. Sister Faulkersons has left the condo so nice and clean and it has a lot of things left that we will gratefully use.

  1. Such a classy apartment -- even a fireplace. Serving missions isn't nearly as tough on families as they used to be. You can pick up an iPad and call family on FaceTime almost any time and see everyone and they can see you and you don't feel that far away at all -- even if you are halfway around the world. Bless you as you begin your work!

  3. Now the FUN begins too! Don't forget to have joy in the journey. I just love DC. Can't wait to hear about your adventures! You're on the Lord's errand. "Trust in the Lord"--even whilst driving that crazy city.
