Elder Anthony entry

Today was one of those days that all missionaries have.  Each day when we arise we intend to accomplish a great work.  Today was no different.  We left for the temple early this morning (9:25).  We made it in time for the 10:00 session and enjoyed the quiet and peaceful session.
Our next stop was at Walmart where we were doing shopping for the coming week.  It is our usual procedure to go to Walmart after the Temple since they are in the same area.
Following the trip to Walmart we went to Washington DC Veterans Hospital.  I had an appointment there at 1:30.  Even though they were very prompt (which was a nice surprise) we didn't leave there until a few minutes before 4:00.  The bottom line is that our day was gone.  Our trip home put us into early rush hour traffic so by the time we got home it was time for dinner.
6:30 rolled around and we found ourselves at the Barlow Center preparing our lessons for next week.  So we were not a productive as we would normally like to be but we are happy and healthy and glad to be together. Elder Anthony

This picture makes the VA look great.  It isn't that nice.

  1. The VA may not look that nice, but can't beat that temple! Glad you got stuff done today

  2. I can't wait to go to the DC temple.
My favorite part of this post is that you left early 9:30.

  3. That is a pretty picture of the VA.
