Ouch

Elder Anthony about every three weeks sleeps on his pillows wrong and gets a really stiff neck.  A really stiff neck.  The nerve gets pinched from an old football injury. This morning he woke up and sure enough it was back.  It was so bad by the time we finished teaching and riding the bus home that he went back to the condo. His tie was driving him nuts.  It becomes like a massive migraine. He can't even stand to blink.  So he is not in very good shape tonight.

We lost two people out of our class today.  One girl has a class that she had to switch to and she had brought a non-member last week.  After the class he talked with the missionaries and is going to start taking the discussions.  He met with them last Thursday and again this week and that is much better than coming to institute class.

We took homemade clam chowder into class.  Elder Anthony let the case get turned on its side when it went through the metal detector and we had a mess in the bag.  I was trying to clean up spilled clam chowder in the woman's restroom in the congressional building with paper towels and a water faucet that would only turn on for 20 sec. at a time.  But it turned out okay.

  1. You have had a challenging day. Our prayers will be with you. Hopefully Dave will start feeling better soon. So sorry about the clam chowder. It's so expensive to make. That must have been a heart breaker.

  2. I can picture you now trying to clean up your bag in the bathroom. I am sorry, but I had to laugh a little.
