Waiting

Elder Anthony had a couple of doctor appointments to go to today at the VA.  All the parking was full so I wait in the car until someone came out and I could park.  His first appointment was with the eye doctor. He had to get his eyes dilated.  We had to wait to get into the eye doctor.  Then wait for you eyes to dilate. Then wait to get back to the doctor.  Elder Anthony passed with flying colors.

Then we waited to return some unused medicine.  We waited to change the socks that were too small but they couldn't change them until a doctor ordered it.  Then he got to see his PC who ordered a bone scan and and a couple of x-rays to see why he always has a stiff neck and a swore foot.  We waited for the bone scan then for the x-ray.  Then we waited to change the socks again.  So this was a day of waiting.  But Elder Anthony seems to be healthy and he can continue to get his prescriptions.  We were super grateful that we could blow one day instead of multiple days.

We taught in Columbia Heights tonight.  We had two non-members and a guy who has been baptized since 2011.  It was a good class.  We didn't get home until 10:40.  The metros were off on their timing.  So it is time to end this day of waiting.
