First Item on the Bucket List

One of the things on our bucket list of things to do was go to a Washington, Redskin Football game. Most of their games are on Sunday.  But there was a preseason game tonight and we didn't have to teach and we got all the student checked in jut moment before we had to leave.  Our administrative assistant and her husband got tickets and went with us.  We paid 5 dollars for our ticket and the regular season price is 119.00.  We were in the end zone 21 rows up.  Every touch down that was made was at our end.  The FedEx stadium holds 91,000 fans.  It was not even half full hence the reason for the cheap seats.  But we can cross that desire off the list.  It is the first time I have ever been to a professional football game.

We also had our big EOCC meeting with the directors of the Barlow Center.  Emeritus Elder Hardy directs the meeting, Scott from BYU, Mike representing seminary and institute, Lance public affairs, Pres. Holmstead the stake, our new BYU professor Andy and Jeff the FM group and us make up the meeting.  There are some fun and challenging things ahead of us that will be done to the Barlow before we leave.  Elder Hardy thanked us for the work that is happening at the Barlow.  They mentioned that all other mission couples had to have the engineering experience and the teaching experience.  It will be exciting to see what happens in the next year.

  1. I would never pay $119 for a football game!

  2. I wouldn't ever pay the full price either.
