Big Big Day

So much has happened and our days have been so long I feel like we have lived a week worth of activities and it is only Tuesday.
5:00 a.m. Elder Anthony got up and went to the Barlow to put the brisket in the oven.
Exercised and showered
Baked rolls and orange rolls, made BBQ sauce for meat, brownies for class
Construction company comes to Barlow to give a bid on the foyer remodel.
Office Christmas party
White House tour.  I was trying to get my pictures organized but I will post them tomorrow because I am too tired to stay up any later.  But this tour was a highlight of our mission.  To see the Christmas decorations was wonderful and so amazing.  Pictures coming.
Home on the bus. Here long enough to grab our teaching things
Drove to the temple were the stake center is located to teach.
Had a student come an hour early to catch  up on a class she missed so she can get credit for the class.
Taught a class.
Mingled with students.
Elder Anthony visited with the new stake president.  He wants to come to the Holmead building tomorrow night during institute to check it out because it falls under his care and direction.
Drove home.  (It is always a 45 minute drive unless traffic is really bad.)
Got home at 10:30.
Tried to organize 70+ pictures to put in my blog.
11:40 give up and go to bed.
Pictures coming tomorrow.

  1. Sounds like you're in the right place at the right time. That's great you've helped so many of the single adults there. It sounds like you shouldn't have any problems sleeping at night as busy as you are.

  2. I bet the brisket was delicious!
