My neighbor a few doors down has a Christmas tradition from her childhood. They made sugar cookies. But this is a special recipe with orange peel in it rolled to almost paper thin. Then they are decorated with sprinkles and then baked. She asked if I wanted to help her make them because as she said they are labor intensive. Our neighbor that usually helps her is out of town. So I said yes. Saturday night I work on them for two and a half hours. Then tonight after church I worked with her for four hours. But we got them done and she was right. They are labor intensive.
