Our Vacation is ending

I can feel our vacation ending.  We have had fun being carefree and running around and Justin's family.  Justin and Sarah and kids will be leaving us tomorrow night and staying at a hotel near the airport so they can make their early morning flight home.  We had a doctors appointment today.  So we had breakfast with them at the hotel and had to leave them on their own for the day.  We got some work done at the Barlow before he had to go to the doctors.  When we go to the VA there is no point coming back home because we would spend the day driving back and forth.  After our appointment we headed right over and went to the temple and then grabbed something to eat and headed to our class to teach.   Our class is held in the High Council room and our new stake president came in and talked to us.  He set down in class and gave our students a really nice thought.  He is so personable.  I really like him.  It was good for us to meet him and for him to see the class.

I had to laugh at Justin yesterday.  We got on a bus and he walks right over and starts talking to a black guy with one arm.  How did you lose that arm?  It was because of a birth defect.  Justin told him that he should think of a better story than that.  They got laughing and talking and the guy asked Justin where he was from.  He told him Vernal Utah.  Everyone is amazed that Justin has five children.  Justin said you guys have traffic jams here because of cars.  In Vernal I have traffic jams because of buffalo.  The man said are you from Buffalo.  Justin said no.  Buffalo cause traffic jams where I am from.  He pulled out his phone and showed the guy a herd of buffalo that wouldn't move out of the road when he was out working in Vernal.  Another guy jumped out of his seat and said I want to see.  They both said I have never even seen a real buffalo.  They had quite the conversation before we got to our destination.  I think Justin could talk to anyone.

  1. Sounds like Justin had the perfect set-up for a missionary referral.
