Mice

The second floor of the Barlow has had a mouse running around.  Last week we heard a scream as one of the works saw a mouse in her office.  Susana put out this cool poison that they get into and when they eat it if they go some place and die they are embalmed and they don't smell.  We have been hoping that they have found the little packets but there is no indication they have eaten any.  Friday night we get a call from another of the employees.  She came back to work for a couple of hours in the evening and she sat down and there was a mouse in her garbage which is under her desk.  We got a call to come.  We headed over hoping to catch the mouse but when we got there he was long gone.  But Ashley was afraid the mouse was in her bag next to the garbage so we checked out her bag and left.   We had a couple of mouse traps and we decided Saturday morning we would go over and set them because no one would be in their offices for the weekend and the garbages were full.  This morning Susana was the first in and up on the second floor. Guess what???

Now the only problem is that my mother always says if you find one there is always more.  Elder Anthony was so happy that he had trapped a mouse.  I hope this ends the problem.

The rest of the day followed the a typical Monday schedule.

  1. Gross! Big cities have critters for sure. Too many places to hide. That is one thing I am grateful about living in Florida. We have every other creature on earth, but thankfully, I've never heard of someone having mice. (I'm sure they live here, just not a creature people deal with). Saw a wild gator yesterday though!! ha ha
