The Journey to Freedom

The Journey to Freedom

Today we walked in the Barlow and people were grabbing Elder Anthony to make a decision on this and that.  The Internet conference inservice was starting and we were running to meet everyone's needs.  Monday's are like that.  Our class went well and we came back to finish up office work.  We had a young lady that was here from North Carolina.  She wanted to spend as much time as possible with other young adults while she was here.  Sister Dickey got a hold of us to see if we would pick her up for FHE.  FHE happens across the street from us and we hate to drive in the city.  But we agreed to go pick her up and bring her over.  They were playing Frisbee and she was using a walker. So she couldn't play but she got to visit with different ones.  But she had fun being with them.  She found a connection to the Library of Congress that was so exciting for her.  One of our students, intern there.   I am sure it was better than sitting in a hotel room.  They didn't have treats so Elder Anthony and I walked to the store and got some treats.  After FHE we drove her back home.  She was so happy to be with young adult that is was very satisfying to have made that possible.

  1. Did you get some of the amazing chocolate from Trader Joes for the FHE treat?
