It's a small world

I was over at the Barlow today at 7:15 to meet one of the workers.  Elder Anthony was finally sleeping so I went over alone.  We got the issues resolved.  Today was also our temple day.  The session was small and they asked us to be the witness couple.  I know that Elder Anthony had a hard time doing that but it was a huge blessing also.  Our prayer in the temple today asked for a special blessing spiritually and physically upon those that had come to serve that they would be able to fulfill the mission they were sent to do.  Usually by the end of the day Elder Anthony is in a lot of pain but tonight he said he felt better than he had all day.

We taught our class tonight at the Stake Center.  We are right next to the stake president office.  Their executive secretary stopped in before our class and was talking to us.  We were just talking and he asked where we were from.  He said he had a brother that lived in Orem.  He said they were both converts to the church.  He said my brother loves living there.  Then he just happened to mention that his brother was Ed Axley and he was the bishop of Lakeview 7th ward.  I said no he isn't.  He is the bishop of Lakeview 6th ward and he is our bishop.  What a small world.  There are a lot of members in Orem Utah.  Who would have guessed he was the brother to our bishop.  We have seen him for the past 5 months off and on and never made the connection until tonight.

  1. Pretty crazy. I hope you can find a more permanent solution for dad's back problems.
