Raining buckets of water

At the first of each semester we are always extra busy.  We have Home evening until someone is called and that usually take three weeks.  So it adds another thing you have to prepare for and more food that has to be planned.  We had a really good turn out tonight.  We had root beer floats and went through almost two buckets of ice cream and three liters of root beer.  We have a young lady in our ward that has her master degree in story telling.  We try and get her each semester.  She is so good and her stories just keep everyone riveted.

It rained so hard tonight that after home evening the interns were going outside and getting soaked in just minutes.  Some I don't think had ever seen that much rain that fast. It was so warm that it was like a shower.

We taught up on  capitol hill today and had 10 students.  We are back to our crazy schedule where we just run all day. But it is good work.  Elder Anthony's steroid pills are gone and the pain is coming back.  We need to get a more permanent fix.

  1. I would love to hear some stories from that woman. I didn't know there was a degree for storytelling.
