We cross the street from our condo to the Barlow at least twice a day and sometimes more. About 2 months ago a water cover in the street started to leak water. We had water running down the street but everyone seemed to ignore it. Then the city came out and dug up around it and filled it in again. But the water leaking didn't stop and the tar that they put in never set up so after a couple of day of cars driving over it it made a pothole. The pothole grew and grew and cars started to avoid it. The city came out and put more tar in it. But with in a day or so the hole grew and grew and we noticed other holes forming around the pothole as car tried to dodge the hole. In the morning or evening as we wait for the crossing sign we would count how many cars hit the hole and how many dodged it. Then they put peet gravel in the hole. That washed out in one day. All this time the water kept leaking and the hole kept growing. This is what it looked like this morning.
This has been a long week and it isn't over yet. We are on our fourth day of 12 plus hours of work. We did get Elder Anthony in for another MRI this afternoon of his hips. We need to be at the Barlow at 6:30 a.m. in morning. We are hosting two days of events here and we have to be here while that is going on.
