Steps Taken Today

I down loaded an app that is suppose to measure your steps.  I don't carry my phone when I am in the Barlow so those are not counted but if the app is right we have walked 12,528 steps today or 5.56 miles.  We started early this morning to get that many steps.  We caught our first bus at 6:05 to go to the doctors.  Elder Anthony received more shots in his hip and he has inflamed his shoulder using his arms to push himself up from a chair so they went in and gave him some shots in the left shoulder as well.  So he should be covered.  We got back to the Barlow on the bus just in time for Elder Anthony to meet the air-conditioning guy who can not find out problem we are having.  The air-conditioner will start making a horrible sound and then shut off.  A few hours later it will reset itself and start again.

We headed back to the the Embassy of Belarus to trying and get Quinn's visa.  This time I stayed out.  Elder Anthony took off his name tag and the same guy was totally different today.  Now we have to go back tomorrow and pick up the visa.  But he got it.

Then is was off to teach at Capitol Hill.  We were disappointed that we only had 6 but we had a really good lesson.  We came back home to eat lunch and back to the Barlow to get some work done.  We missed home evening to go to the hospital to see our intern that is still there.  So we have ridden on 8 bus's today and 1 train between our walking 5 miles.

  1. It's no wonder Dave needed a Cortizone shot in his hip. That's a lot of walking.
